Lovely place

The colonna resort it's everything we want to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pools are great. The private beach is really good. The staff are incredible and help you with everything. Quiet place, 5 minutes away from Porto Cervo.

The restaurant menu could be much better - Few options.

Excellent hotel with high standards and relaxing atmosphere.

Panoramic views from the terrace. Good Breakfast. Private beach. Car parking. Choice of swimming pools (not heated). Excellent service.

Lighting in the room was dim. Occasional foul odor in the corridors .

By mistake took our swimming suits and did not return. Due to family reasons we had to end our holiday 3 days earlier. Hotel did not want to compensate any of the days

An expensive, but relaxing, stay at a luxurious property close to Porto Cervo

The spectacular 7 pools were absolutely a highlight of our stay, as was the pristine private beach. The service on both was impeccable. We also liked the lavish breakfast and breathtaking views of the bar terrace. Again, best of all was the friendliness of staff.

We thought the price was steep for the size of the room, but we loved the location of our room and the views.

Amazing location, very poor hotel (especially for the price).

The property hasn’t been refurbished for perhaps 40 years and it really shows. The location/position is astoundingly beautiful, but the fabric of the hotel is very tired and the food served at the hotel is universally dreadful.

the hotel need to revamp the gym , spa, and enhance restaurant food quality

Amazing views & fantastic breakfast.

Breakfast was the highlight for us. Loved the pools & the view from our room. Bed was comfortable. Bathrobes were very luxurious. All staff were very friendly & courteous. Gardens were spectacular.

No iron in the room. No complimentary coffee or water. Never stayed in a 5 star hotel where you were charged for coffee pods, until now. Spa pool was cold.

It was over all good experience, the staff was nice. Only 1 front desk was not really helping with the check in malfunct

The property is very nice. But it was too expensive and they tried to charge us for some laundry which we didn’t have. And I booked through booking.com for 10 people, but in their system it was only 4 people so the front desk tried charge us again. We were very upset about this. But after argument it was settled nicely by the manager.

The room is humid. And we I first checked in the bathroom was clogged.

Exceeded expectations with staff pool beach and breakfast.

Loved the beach and especially the wooden dock!! Pool area was incredible. Breakfast was amazing!! Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Spa looked great!

Nice resort with private beach

Great location with private beach, Breakfast quality was good with a large selection and good coffee. The highlight is the private beach and crystal clear water.

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place.

Views from the room and the common areas were fantastic. The grounds were spacious and well maintained. Good onsite parking. The hotel was clean. The staff were lovely. The piano guy was great.

The hotel pools were a little too cold to use, even in August. The water from our shower always leaked out onto the floor due to the design.

A big resort with several pools, nice garden area, cozy beach, friendly staff. The food was excellent, I recommend HB option.

The spa area and specially the gym needs renovations.

Amazing location, very clean but dated hotel.

The location to me was the best in the whole of Sardinia, just six minutes drive from any place we wanted to go locally including Porto Cervo. The staff were absolutely amazing everywhere but I would like to send a big "Thank You" to Vanessa in particular. She was extremely attentive and so pleasant. The terrace bar, the swimming pools as well as the small private beach are all great. Also, there's ample parking available for all guests at all times.

The rooms and the corridors to the rooms are crying out for renovation. They're very dated including the bathroom and the furniture and certainly do not represent the 5* category. The mattress and the pillows weren't very comfortable and the whole room needed a complete revamp. Also, every hotel I've visited all around the world, would leave at least 2 complementary bottles of water in the room daily, but not the Colonna!

A large resort

Whilst the hotel has somewhat dated decor the staff were friendly and the facilities on site are fairly extensive. It is a very large resort. It offered a buffet breakfast upstairs on the deck area (with an indoor part as well). The breakfast had a fair variety of food from savoury to sweets/pastries. The staff were diligent with their offering of coffees. I did not eat dinner at the resort however it boasted a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset from the balcony. The rooms were fairly dated and a bit small (for 2 people with 2 lots of luggage each). The walls were very thin which was disappointing and we couldn't tell whether the noise came from above us or beside us. The pools were extensive and great and the downstairs lunch area had a good variety of food and the lasagna was delicious! The aircon in the room was great and there were 2 sets of blinds, one sheer to let light in and then blockout blinds which were very effective.

Somewhat dated decor. It would be good to have the offering of a shuttle to and from Port Cervo. I understand it may not be feasible given the size of the hotel. There are limited taxis on the island so really had to rely on being very prepared with transport. Really I'd recommend hiring a car. The pineapple at breakfast seemed to be from a tin. Other fruits were definitely fresh though.
